PV energy in Hungary
General
According to the Directive 2009/28/EC of the European
Parliament and of the Council on the promotion of the use of energy from
renewable sources the target for the share of energy from renewable sources in
gross final consumption of energy in the year 2020 for Hungary is 13% (in the
year 2005 the share was 4.3%).
Renewable electricity: PV
The Hungarian PV sector is growing slowly but the trend is
stable. Year 2010 slightly better in this matter: the market grew by 35 kW and
reached 1000 kWp.
