
Aid is provided, depending on
the available financial resources, mainly for projects aimed at the
construction of heating and water warming systems via RES:
- in community buildings,
- in the objects of a tertiary
sphere,
- and family houses,
- in schools...
There are some international cooperation
projects like a joint Czech-Austrian project on the development of solar
thermal energy operated by Arsenal Research.
Description of the support scheme
Subsidies under Part B of the Programme (administered by the Ministry of the Environment)
may, in the case of municipalities and the not-for-profit sector, amount to:
- as much as 90% of the basis for the calculation of aid,
- as much as 40% in the case of businesses.
Grants with Credits
equivalent to:
- 35%
of costs (interest-free) for nonbusiness entities,
- 90%
of costs for businesses, generally at an interest rate of 4% per annum over a
12-year period.
The new 2005
system conserve the existing reduced VAT
(5% instead of 22%) for small installations.
