
Wind energy in
General
According to the Directive 2009/28/EC of
the European Parliament and of the Council on the promotion of the use of
energy from renewable sources the target for the share of energy from renewable
sources in gross final consumption of energy in the year 2020 for Romania is
24% (in the year 2005 the share was 17.8%).

Commission has finally given clearance for

funds financing were performed within the Sectoral
Operational Programme “Increase of Economic
Competitiveness” (SOP IEC). Ministry of Environment Order
1342/2009 on the approval of the Guide on financing the Programme
for the production of electricity from RES.
Future programme changes expected
